ACADEMIA DE IDIOMAS DEL NORTE (A.I.N.) Is the only school teaching Spanish as a foreign language in the sunny north of Chile. Our institute is located in Iquique, a well-known vacationing resort and busy port in the northern part of the country.

Our language institute is Swiss owned and has taught foreign languages since 1980. We offer regular courses in the following languages:

SPANISH – ENGLISH – GERMAN – FRENCH – PORTUGUESE - MANDARIN & RUSSIAN.

Iquique lies on the border of the Atacama Desert, one of the driest deserts in the world, 1850 km north of Santiago de Chile and 1560 km south of Lima, Peru.
We have 200.000 inhabitants, nice beaches, a tax free shopping mall, adventure sports, warm weather, no rain, increasing cultural activities , and ten flights a day to Santiago , the capital of Chile .

Our school has a list of carefully chosen boarding houses, flats, hostals & hotels. Our students will be picked up at the airport or bus station and looked after throughout their entire stay.
